  1. I used my VIN on accessories.chevrolet.com. There is not a single vehicle GM makes that has this item installed by the factory. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  2. Placed an order for the rear seat cover for my truck via GM Accessories. The crotch goblins keep spilling food crumbs in the truck, which go between the seat cushion and backrest, and into the storage bin underneath. Hopefully this helps with the messes, but it's a PITA to install, and it's further complicated by child seats. I don't recommend getting this. If there's a better option that fits like a fitted sheet around the seat, I recommend getting it. This is thick and durable, but the universal fit where it uses velcro in certain spots, and sits loosely is junk. Manufacturer is Aires. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  3. Part number depends on whether you have a center console Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  4. I went to my dealer this afternoon to pickup another order (rear seat cover because the crotch goblins keep dropping food on the seat, which ends up in the storage bin underneath). While at the parts counter I asked them to look this, first without a part number then with. They couldn't find anything without the part number. When I gave them the part number they made a phone call and found out it was backordered indefinitely. Nobody said a thing about a new part number. Does somebody happen to have the new part number available for jet black interior with push button start? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  5. GM Parts Online just canceled my order for the same kit. Does anybody have a source available for this? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  6. Riiiight.... Just because it's not your reality doesn't mean it isn't reality. I received and responded to the consumer reports survey in early 2006, which i found odd because I only had the car in question for a few weeks. Furthermore, surveys like the one Consumer Reports sends out have a lack of credibility. They could suffer from one or more of the following issues: Inadequate response options, rating level inconsistencies, assuming prior knowledge or understanding, leading questions, ambiguous or unintelligible questioning, excessive open-ended questions, or lengthy surveys. The best means to rank a vehicle is long term testing. This is why many publications, such as MotorTrend; Automobile Magazine; The Fast Lane Truck; etc buy vehicles as long term testers and report on them. TFL just completed a 1-year ownership of the Silverado Trail Boss LT with the 5.3 and they had zero issues. They called it "bullet proof", whereas their prior long term test truck, a Ram Rebel, had a couple issues. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  7. Consumer reports rankings are based on opinions, not actual testing of the product. This is contrary to everything else they rank. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  8. You can't get 93 in California. Only 91. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  9. Here's my 2020 Trail Boss LT. It came with tow mirrors from the factory. Hourly it gives you some insight and peace of mind of what you ordered. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  10. Don't bother ordering this from GM Parts Direct, imo. I placed the order Monday. They just sent me an email that they were canceling the order. Had to call to find out why. Apparently the kit is on backorder from GM. They don't know when it'll become available, so they just canceled the order. I was trying to buy part # 84942073, which is the complete kit for jet black interior with push button start. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  11. You're welcome. The F800 kit has both front and rear cameras. There is a cheaper version for just the front. If you buy it at accessories.chevrolet.com you can pay to have the dealer install it at a fixed price. If they go over the time they are billed to install it you won't have to pay the extra time. I had a dealership in San Diego install the light bar on my truck. It is booked at about 2 hours, iirc, but it took them 5 days because the battery in key fob remote caused them issues. I didn't have to pay a single penny of that extra time. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  12. Producers don't do it. It has to do with the cameras. Iirc, something to do with the FPS (frames per second). Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  13. Beat me to it. The connection isn't tight at all. GM uses a foamy gasket at the end of the tube, but it doesn't have a firm connection when inserted into the air box. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  14. GM Accessories has the Thinkware F800 unit. I have this in my truck, and highly recommend it. It connects to my phone via Bluetooth everytime I get in the truck. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  15. GM makes this, and I have it. Got it for Christmas, and installed it the same day. Took about 15-20 minutes total. I've never noticed a dirt or debris problem prior to installing it, and didn't notice a decrease afterwards. The Extang product looks good and might perform the job better than the GM Accessories part. https://accessories.chevrolet.com/product/tailgate-gap-cover-84184471?vin=3GCPYFEL1LG353604&categoryId=98011 Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  16. I vacuumed and wiped down the interior. The kids were making a mess in the backseat. When I realized how much crud fell into the storage bin I decided to purchase the GM Accessories seat cover. It looks like it'll keep almost everything from falling between the seat cushion and backrest. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  17. Part number depends on whether or not you have a center console. Go to accessories.chevrolet.com and enter your VIN. It's one the category INTERIOR, and then TRIM KIT. Once you have the part number you'll be about to go to your favorite GM parts website and order them for less than the GM Accessories website has them listed for. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  18. I'd like to add that the pic GM provides shows the lid doesn't open all the way because the rear seat cushion is in the way. This topic being discussed in detail, and having pictures shown, has caused me to decide on the Du-Ha. Looking at the dimensions of the GM options made me decide to not get the ones GM offers. I was initially considering the locking one that has a 3 digit combo, but the dimensions say it's the shallowest of all the options. Thank you guys for all the input. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  19. Bump If the price seems too high feel free to make me an offer. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  20. Sold Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  21. Those types of car washes are all I can use in Southern California. The automated washes have a maximum height of 7'2". With the light bar on top of the sport bar my truck is about 7'4"-7'5". Trail Boss with stock ride height. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  22. Not necessarily. There are differences. I went with the other option. Get the Trail Boss and add the features I want via the GM parts catalog. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  23. Actually, they do. You need the 3.0 Duramax though. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  24. Thank you. I will let her know. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  25. And still have all that ugly chrome? No black 18" wheels and Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires? I went with function over form. My truck has seen dirt, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't be as comfortable as possible. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
