  1. Is the Trail Boss the Z71 of the past? No. It's better, imo. There's 8 trim levels, 2 of which are Trail Boss. That's 25% of the trim levels. Therefore I'd argue Trail Boss is underrepresented in sales, but that's not how this works. Trail Boss should be an option package, not a trim level. People should be able to get whatever trim level they want on a truck and add the Trail Boss package. If I could've had a LTZ with the Trail Boss package I would've been all over it. Heated and cooled seats, memory seating, factory navigation, wireless phone charging, towing mirrors with more features, and the brown interior on LTZ and High Country are all features I would've liked to have, but couldn't because I chose the Trail Boss. 2. Again, I haven't had a leaky window, yet. I'll let you know what happens when my turn comes around. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  3. Here's pics of the exact badges I'm selling. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  4. You're almost 2 hours from me. I doubt you'd want to travel all the way down to San Diego when you have a dozen other dealerships that are closer. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  5. I haven't had a leaky window, yet. Every time my truck has gone in for service (accessory install, 7500 mile service) I've asked them to check for a leaking rear window. Nothing so far. I also check after my carwash every 2 weeks, and after rainstorms (like today's) and I don't have this problem yet. With that said, I'm satisfied with the type of service I received from Katrina. When a 2 hour install job ended up taking almost a week she kept me in the loop and even provided a loaner. Really good customer service so far. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  6. "What do you mean by mop the parking lot? Is raining outside." "You need an exhaust sample from the guvies to be placed in this garbage bag?" "Go burn the barrels under the latrines?" Yes, I understand. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  7. Are you sure the chart is inaccurate? How do you know they haven't abide by that chart and are already on the next group? After all, compliance rate has been said to be as low as 30%. Since the vaccine was already out of the freezer they had to use it, so in to the next group of people as outlined. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  8. I use Courtesy Chevrolet in San Diego. Katrina is my service writer. She's familiar with the leaking rear window problem. They have handled several of them already. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  9. This is what they look like on my truck. The badges I'm selling are in plastic GM baggies with huge part number stickers on the side of them. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  10. I did the matte black vinyl letters from GM, but I've also completely de-chromed my truck, except the Z71 badges on the grille. First pic is night time with direct light from garage. Second pic is a cloudy day with no direct light from garage. I love the matte black vinyl on my dark blue truck. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  11. I use to live in Salt Lake City and would drive to Grants Pass, OR to visit extended family. My route had me get off I-80 and take over 200 miles of back roads, that even today doesn't have towns, gas stations, or even cell phone reception. Get off I-80 in Winnemucca, NV and head to Lakeview, OR. Back in the 80s there was a gas station in Denio, NV, and it was about midway between the 2 towns. That station is closed. And, because of Oregon's laws stating you can't pump your own gas, if you got to Lakeview, OR you were stuck until the gas station opened in the morning. I use to have a car that was limited to the distance, and I spent at least 1 winter night freezing my butt off in the car waiting for the gas station to open. I'm glad these trucks are capable of better mpg. Still, I make sure to top off the gas in Winnemucca just in case something happens. I've hit many big storms on this route, and helped many people who've become stranded. Oh, and the entire 200 miles is open range with no fencing. It's not uncommon to suddenly find a herd of cows in the middle of the highway in the middle of the night. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  12. Please let us know what you think. I'm interested in doing this. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  13. Yep. 6.2s called for replacing all valve springs. 5.3s called for replacng only the 1 broken valve spring. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  14. Just a quick Google search revealed Toyota doesn't make a perfect truck either. https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2020/TOYOTA/TUNDRA/PU%25252FEC/2WD With that said, I've been very nit picky about my $60k truck, and likely would've been with whatever truck I bought. I almost pulled the trigger on a 2020 Tundra TRD Pro in black, but I'm glad I didn't. I like the Silverado more. And, I use the storage under the rear seat, which is something no Tundra owner can say. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

  16. I bought these badges right before Christmas, but forgot I had placed them on my Wish List. My wife ended up getting another set of these for me as a Christmas present. The badges I'm selling are brand new, unopened, and in original factor wrapping. These are the exact same size and shape as the T1xx generation Z71 badges on the front fenders of the 1500 series trucks. I got these badges for about $65. I'm asking for $50 shipped for both badges. I will post pics later if requested. edit: typo corrected Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  17. SOLD! I'm selling a complete set of lug nuts with wheel locks and key for 2019+ Silverados. I'm unsure if they'll work on Sierra trucks, but also don't see why they won't. I'm asking $100 shipped, obo. GM Accessories website says the locks alone retail for $60, and a complete set of lug nuts and locks are $140. The lug nuts were installed on my truck by the factory in Mexico. The wheel locks were installed by my dealer 5 months ago. I've put 8,800 miles on my truck since. I'm selling because I received black lug nuts and wheel locks for my truck on Christmas. Updated with pics.
  18. Bump If nobody is interested by January 15th they're going into the garbage. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  19. I don't have the bumper, but I do have the exhaust cutouts in chrome. $100 for both. Message me if you're interested. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  20. It's a good deal, but after reading the entire thread I've decided to pass on it. The GMC Accessories says with their current sale there a 25% discount, and I can get free shipping to my local dealership, so it's only $100 difference. Once I saw you telling people to F/O I decided you weren't worth doing business with. Good luck with your sale. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

  22. That's funny right there. Ford is having issues with the 10-speed transmissions they built, that are also being used in the Silverado. I've read there's something different about the valving for the transmission for the 2 companies, and both companies made their own valving. I'll take a leaky rear window over a bad transmission. I also find Ford trucks have an even cheaper quality interior than GMs. Ford isn't a quality product. Just look at the number of recalls they have. The 2020 Explorer has 10 recalls already. 23. Something interesting is going on with the forum. I don't see any of my posts from yesterday. If, somehow, this is a repost, please ignore it. For Christmas I got the GM tailgate gap filler. I didn't take pics. It is a very easy install. You only need a T-20 torx bit driver/socket/etc, microfiber rag, and 15-20 minutes. I also got black plug nuts and wheel locks. These look much better than the chrome lugs nuts do on the black 18" Trail Boss wheels. The black plugs nuts are also a bit longer so they're the same length as the wheel locks. I also got black Z71 badges for the front fenders. I don't have pics of them yet due to being out of Goo Gone. I ordered a bottle from Amazon, and will have this done in the next few days.
