  1. I agree with this 100%. I normally order WeatherTech immediately after I get home from the dealership after buying a new vehicle. I decided to pass on that this time since my truck came with the Z71 floor mats. I don't regret it. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  2. Dealership is full of crap. They know about it. Mine knows about it, and it hasn't rained here since before I moved here over a month ago. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  3. I hate the remote switch you get with the GM Accessories lights. I'm considering getting the auxiliary switches through GM Upfitters and using one of them for an off/on switch. I do wonder if the light switch for the last gen trucks with the sport bar lights can modified and used in the T1xx trucks so there's a wire in switch. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  4. Imo, the round lights on top of the sport bar look a lot better than the full width led strip GM offers in the accessories catalog. Did you wire in a switch, or are you using a key fob remote switch for them? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  5. MVI already has a wireless charging kit for the T1xx trucks. However, for about 1/3 of the price there's a thread somewhere in this forum that lists everything you need to buy from GM Parts to install that feature. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  6. Right now I'm dealing with another issue that's best discussed elsewhere. Talking to Hennessey is pointless if things go badly. And, no, there's no mechanical issue with my truck at this time. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  7. It said 2022 Silverados. Right now we're talking 2019-2021. In 2022 the Silverado also gets the new interior. Coincidence??? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  8. That sounds very much like the GM Performance exhaust. The GMPE comes in a box with no ink on the outside. It's a plain box like everything else GM packages. It's the shorter one of the 2 boxes in the attached pic. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  9. I went with a Rough Country hard trifold. I have a thread on my build that'll show the result. I have the short bed. With your bed being longer you might be able to fully open the first portion and have it lay flat. That is irrelevant to me since I wanted something that'll lock down and keep my stuff secure, it's water resistant, and it's also very easy to remove and place in the bed if you suddenly need to carry something large. It just takes turning 4 knows, slide the tonneau towards you, and fold over. Once it's folded and secured via the straps and buckles that are installed you can lift it and place it in your bed. I had to do this about a month ago when we bought a new full size bed and box spring for our son. The tonneau being in the bed, and the mounting rails still installed, didn't affect our ability to transport the bed (and a 75" tv we bought on a whim). Link to my build thread: https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink/topic?url=https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/241500-transients-build/&share_tid=241500&share_fid=33003&share_type=t&link_source=app It's not a long thread, so you should be able to find the tonneau cover pics quickly. 10. It appears Hennessey Performance has all of this stuff figured out, and is getting more power. I may look into going that direction instead. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  11. Wireless Android Auto would be nice to have. I don't, and won't, have Facebook. Could you please keep us updated on this forum? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  12. Ford went through financial troubles in 2007, and was able to get loans before the housing market bubble burst. GM and Chrysler were only 2 years behind them, but by that time the recession was in full swing. Ford initially didn't want to take any money, but was "convinced" to do so. Tesla was in its infancy at the time, but they took bailout money too. I forget who the other 2 companies were, but want to say Toyota and Nissan. I am likely mistaken on those last 2 though. Just going off memory at this point. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  13. Where? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  14. Good thing I'm a Utah resident. I just happen to be in California, lol. Now, about those who have better taste in trucks like me.... Just kidding. It sucks I can't get a rocket launcher targeting system on my Trail Boss. Oh, well! Guess I'll have to settle for a manned full auto .50 cal in the bed of my truck. 15. Actually, Ford took $9 billion. Out of the 6 car manufacturers that took bailout money, Ford is the only one still repaying its debt. Edit: I just looked and, and it appears Ford is on track to paying its debt in full in 2022. They had a $591 million payment in 2020, $591 million payment in 2021, and a final payment of $289 million in 2022. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  16. Is that the targeting system for an aftermarket rocket launcher system? If so, is it California compliant? Is it available for trucks with color screens in the dash with mechanical gauge above the screen (Trail Boss LT)? That thing is awesome! Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  17. For clarification, immediately after I posted what you quoted I edited my post to what is says now. As for this whole, you're being taken advantage of because your a woman, the following text are words. Post #37 Post #41 You double down and tried justifiying the whole "being a woman" crap. Omfg - as you can see, I did read your posts. How about we try moving on, and avoid the whole gender mumbo-jumbo? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  18. MsKlaws, I don't subscribe to Group Think. Just because this is a forum of similar interests, that doesn't mean I have to believe you're being mistreated simply because you're a woman. The 2 things are separate and separable. You haven't proven what's happening to you is because you're a woman. The inverse of that is all good things happen to men simply because they're men. If that were true, we'd never be unhappy. I agree with what you and others have said about getting this matter taken care of in a professional and respectful manner, to include anything and everything you can get due to the inconveniences you've had to endure. The dealership hasn't come through on their representation. As a fellow 2020 6.2 owner, whose truck was built during the time period in question (6/20 to be specific), I'd likely try to get what I could for the inconvenience as a peace of mind that if I experience future problems I know it'll be taken care of. However, minimizing piss poor customer simply because your a woman is poor judgement on your part. You can't prove it's because your woman. To say such is a cheap shot at the people involved on what could very likely not be discriminatory at all. If they're doing it to you then they are likely doing it to other people too, and I bet gender isn't at the root of the issue. All people should be treated fairly and equally, regardless of gender, skin color, etc. A business who doesn't act this way should be called out. For clarification, my parents divorced when I was 4. My mother never remarried. I was raised by my mother. I have actually seen discrimination based on gender, and how it not only affects the woman, but the whole family she's the head of, too. Homelessness became the eventual result for my family because people assumed a woman should be at home raising children, not working 2 full-time jobs to provide food, shelter, and clothing for her children. Crying about things happening because she's woman didn't fix any problems, and her problems were much bigger than a broken truck. She picked herself up, and did the very best she could. I think she did an amazing job when circumstances were actually against her. Btw, according to the US Census Bureau, women are the majority gender in this country. Women are not a protected class in this country (and neither are men). Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  19. Thank you very much for the quick reply and info Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  20. Agreed. I get why they wouldn't allow somebody to work on vehicles in the driveway, but no carwashing was dumbfounding (along with a big chunk of the lease). I thought the 101 page lease was ridiculous. The home I just sold in Virginia was a rental property for me for 5 years, and my lease was a fraction of that. I'll chalk it up to being in California. 21. I'm looking to do license plate lights and reverse lights. Can you recommend a good source to buy these from? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  22. How much power is it making at the crank or wheels? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  23. Added factory navigation today. GM really screwed up not having this as an option in the LT trucks (both Trail Boss and non-Trail Boss). Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  24. Added factory navigation via MVI today. This is just the loaner module. Mine is currently in FedEx's possession headed to MVI for reprogramming. They're going to send me mine back and I have to send them their loaner back to get my $450 core refunded. I'm very happy, and this is much better than Android Auto. 25. If anything is because you're a girl, it's that you're being treated better than a guy would be. New engine, buy back, tires, and first payment all being offered? As a guy of be told to sit tight while they get me a new engine. No buy back as an option, and I'd still have to pay for my tires and monthly payments. You're getting preferential treatment because you're a woman, not the run around. Get over it already. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
