The Weather Tech vent visors are great. I've had them on all of mine and my wife's cars for about the last 15 years. However, I've had 1 issue come up with my 2020 Silverado that I've never had before. On 2 separate occurrences I've had a high pitch whistle while driving at freeway speeds. The first time was on the driver's side front door while I had a fast sustained wind from the right to left. I was driving across west Texas enroute to Roswell, NM. The wind was fast enough that I drove right through a dirt cloud that was a thick as fog. On the second occurrence the whistling was coming from the front passenger door. The wind was blowing left to right. I was on I-15 in southwestern California. I found that cracking the window a tiny bit alleviated the whistling sound. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

The move to California is almost complete. I'm currently at a hotel, awaiting the day I can move in to the house I already signed a lease for. In the meantime, like all bad ideas that happen at night, this happened (see pic). That's sound advice. I just arrived less than 24 hours ago, and I'm frustrated by all the stupidity in SoCal. I could go on a rant here, but will spare everybody. It was either SoCal or DC, so I decided on the swamp with less stink. You're more than welcome to come hoist my truck into the air, drop the gas tank, and remove and measure all the fuel so you can get an exact amount. Otherwise, what I've presented is all anybody is going to get. After all, we can only guesstimate how much fuel is actually in the tank since we aren't accounting for each and every do since the truck was built. I bought my first vehicle with a sunroof about 15 years ago. It was a sporty car. When I had to upgrade to a vehicle that was more family friendly I chose to go without a sunroof, and missed having the sunroof a lot. I finally had a bit more say in what I wanted in a car, and had to have a sunroof, so I got one. It feels good having a sunroof again. And, with my current cross country move, having a sunroof has really helped out due to the COVID-crap going on. In my truck in transporting my dog and my wife's cat. Although I have been able to find dog-friendly restaurants, I can't say the same for cats. So, the cats stay in their carriers (my wife is transporting another cat in her car). We park near the patio at the restaurant, and roll down the windows and open the sunroof on both cars. It hasn't been hot enough outside to harm the animals, but if we didn't open the windows and sunroof the interior would get hot enough that the cats could be in danger. Opening the sunroof has meant that heat isn't as likely to get trapped in the car, and makes it more likely for a breeze to come along and help out. The biggest drawback I've had with vehicles that had sunroofs is that I'm a tall enough guy that the lower interior ceiling has resulted in me bumping my head numerous times when going over bigger bumps on the highway. My wife's 2017 Chevy Traverse has been no exception to this, even with the seat all the way down. However, that hasn't been an issue at all with my 2020 Silverado. It does have a sunroof. Although I do prefer the seat cushion lowered all the way, I actually have room to raise the seat if I wanted to. I'm also biased to GM vehicles, and have owned many. Out of all the vehicle I've owned, none of them with sunroofs have given me a problem. My wife's cars with sunroofs have also been flawless for her. If you're worried about problems, don't be (imo). I was reading the owner's manual today and learned a lot about the remotes. For the trucks with bucket seats, the squarish space in the middle of the front cup holders is for programming new remotes. The truck can be programs for up to 8 different driver profiles. Also, if you get a message that your remote battery needs replacing, or the truck doesn't read the remote, just place it in that squarish space. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I have been. Currently driving from Chesapeake, VA to San Diego, CA. I've been doing touristy-stuff along the way, too. Today I drove from Flagstaff, AZ to Mesquite, NV via US 89, to US 89A, AZ 389, which turned into UT 59, then I-15 south. Lots of climbing and descending. Cruise was always set at +4 over the posted speed limit. Several stops for bathroom breaks, food, etc. Even floored it a few times to pass slow vehicles on the highway. According to Google Maps the entire distance today was 305 miles. I filled the tank first thing this morning when I left the hotel. According to the myChevrolet app, I still have "approximately" 10 gallons in the tank and 205 miles until empty. It's a 24 gallon gas tank. 305÷14= 21.8mpg. According to my truck, the best mpg average I experienced today over a 50 more distance was 23.9mpg. Today i experienced everything from red traffic lights, to 75mph speed limits, to rough roads in the Navajo Reservation. I have a Trail Boss LT with the 6.2. Yesterday I drove from Gallup, NM, up to the visitor center of the south rim of the Grand Canyon, then back to Flagstaff, AZ. My best mpg was 23.5. With that said, when I get down to 1/8 of a tank remaining my wife is sitting at 1/4 tank in her 2017 Traverse, however she has been behind me the entire trip. You can upgrade to GM navigation still. You just have to go elsewhere. I dug into this last month. GM has abandoned the navigation upgrade program. I like the GM Performance catback system. Currently driving cross country in my truck, and the sound hasn't bothered me at all. It's quiet when cruising, but when the truck downshifts due to climbing a hill you get a little rumble. Feel like standing on the gas peddle? You'll let everybody know you have an exhaust and a V8. Wireless Android Auto? I wonder if I can add that to my 2020. Trying to use the wired version has resulted in sudden disconnects. I was getting bad info from dealer (and could tell instantly), and not much else out there for info. Beware that if you try remove the sport bar you will have to deal with electrical in the fuse block to make the high mount stop light above your rear window function. GM has a soft roll up tonneau cover that work for about $500. I had no difficulty at all getting the Rough Country trifold tonneau to install, but you won't be able to fully open the tonneau cover beyond the first section due to the sport bar angling inward and getting in the way. I have the short bed on my truck. Your result may be slightly different due to having a longer bed. With that said, I also installed the Rough Country before I installed the sport bar. Before selecting a tonneau cover my dealer also told me the $2500 GM Accessories roll up tonneau cover would work too. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I've noticed that most of the buttons and switches in the trucks are redundant. Climate can be controlled via the touch screen or buttons below the radio buttons. Radio can be controlled from the steering wheel, touch screen, or buttons below the touch screen. Making calls from a connected cell phone is controlled through the steering wheel or touch screen. Some may consider it unnecessary, but I find the steering wheel controls beneficial. I don't touch the radio buttons below the touch screen.
