  1. Yeah, I figured it was a good move as most people who buy AT4s either buy them in the 3.0 or the 6.2. It's also good to hear that they added 3.0 as an option for the Trail Boss, as that was one of the reasons I wanted an AT4 instead of an LT Trail Boss. It seems that they're still offering the 5.3 on the Trail Boss tho?
  2. I have no clue, but ordering just opened up on the 2022 Sierra HDs, and their production date start mid-July. You could probably go off of that, which means ordering for 2022 Sierra 1500s will be around July-August. Honestly I have a 2021 ordered but since it's still at 1100 I'm just gonna wait till they officially reveal 2022 and then go from there.
  3. Man that's interesting, so the SUVs are not experiencing constraints on the same packages? I ordered an AT4 w/ technology package because my rationale is that if I am buying a 55k truck, I might as well spend the extra 4k on all the bells and whistles... But seeing that they just took out AFM/DFM as well as the auto start/stop, I don't think the driver alert 1/2 are gonna be off constraint anytime soon...
  4. Personally I prefer AT4s because of the factory stance and look. Plus I like the rugged look on the outside and the leather seats inside. I think it just depends on whether you prefer chrome vs black/body match, and the things you're going to do to the truck. AT4s sits higher factory, so a leveling kit will run you about 4 inch total higher, whereas a leveling kit on a Denali will be about 2 inch higher total. Power steps are something that you can always add to the AT4.
  5. Haha I see, thanks! Looking at the window sticker they have no packages besides the dealer adding illuminated emblems, high clearance steps and underseat storage... Fingers crossed that those package constraints will be lifted soon, but I doubt it...
  6. Haha I live in Texas so I went to Fredericksburg Chevy GMC out here in Hill Country. My order hasn't even been accepted yet because of constraints, and it's a small town near me so it's not a volume dealer or anything. GM removed supplier pricing? I can still see it on the gmsupplierdiscount.com website though! I do know that GM lowered the manufacturer rebate this month (for Sierras at least) AND they reduced the military discount from like 3-4k to 500, which is honestly ridiculous.
  7. See if your dealer will honor employee pricing if you factory order one. My dealer would not honor employee pricing for their inventory cars but they said they would for my factory order. However, they also don't mark up their cars so I don't know what dealers in SoCal would do since they're already greedy enough to mark up their cars... Do you happen to know if those AT4s/Trail Bosses were fully loaded? It seems like most of the new AT4s coming out have little to no options with them because of constraints on Driver Alert and Technology Packages. When I looked at the inventory a month ago, most of dealers cars were fully loaded. Not anymore.
  8. Yep, that seems to be the case, along with the Technology Package on constraint as well. I only placed my order on a fully loaded AT4 on May 12th, so fingers crossed that the constraints will be lifted before the September cutoff or whatnot. Anyone have any idea of those constraints are 100% or they're just being allocated at a certain percentage?
