  1. You can adjust the door auto lock in the "Settings" app Although every vehicle I have owned since at least the early 2000's has had this feature turned on. You an always just use the door unlock button or pull the door handle twice to unlock it whenever you want.
  2. Whenever I don't get an acceptable answer from a support person I escalate to their manager and keep going up the chain until I get a satisfactory resolution. Then there is also social media, I've had companies reach back out to me to resolve the issue because of a post. I don't like to go that route but sometimes that catches someones attention due to its public visibility. (Note: once all is said and done I will either remove the post or amend it to state the issue was resolved to my satisfaction)
  3. Just as a counterpoint to some of the concerns in this discussion... I had a '09 Tahoe 5.3 w/AFM. Traded in at 219k. Mobil1 & AC Delco filters through out its life & only switched to high mileage M1 once over 200k. Oil changes were generally done when OLI was around 20%, except for last year where it sat more than it moved and I changed it after 1 year. No AFM issues and TBH I didn't even know there were potential for issues until I had about 210k on it. I eventually got a Range device for it as a precaution but it saw less than 3k/9 months of use before I traded the Tahoe in, now it's just a paperweight on my desk. DFM doesn't bother or scare me, I barely even notice it unless I'm looking for it. Although I do like hypermiling when taking long highway trips, or at least try to.
  4. You can always get GM OE blades from Rock Auto: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=12532309&cc=3446624&pt=8852&jsn=812&jsn=812
  5. Before launching the parts cannon at it I probably would pull the motor and see if it performs the same way with out a load (the steps) on it. Then also check the steps range of motion manually to make sure there isn't any binding going on.
  6. I mounted my V1 above the rear view mirror between it and the headliner. Its where I have always mounted it on all my vehicles and tap into the auto dimming mirror wiring. I got one of these for my Sierra, but here is one for the Yukon which makes tapping the wires easy. https://www.gen5diy.com/collections/2021-yukon-plug-and-play-harnesses/products/2021-yukon-radar-detector-harness
  7. So when I got to choose my dealer, neither my selling dealer or the other local dealer are options to select from. Closest dealer I can choose is over 1hr away. edit: and I figured out why... I'm guessing all dealers don't have to participate with the "generic" ship to dealer option, or with corporate discounts either because if I go to the other local dealer that is selling them for the standard MSRP and try to enter in OCTOBER10 through their portal it says it's invalid.
  8. Thanks for the code, I must have missed that one. I do have some reward points but I was saving those to get the lighted front emblem.
  9. 1. The Amp steps wont protect from inconsiderate people who will let their door swing open and hit whatever. The full length boards should stick out just enough to help with this. 2. TBH, I don't like how the AMPs look installed on the trucks. I originally was thinking of getting those (and forgoing protection for #1) until I saw a set in person. They don't tuck up and hide away as well as they do on other vehicles I have seen and because of this they just look odd to me as they don't cover the full cab length. While they can be adjusted, either you have a gap at the back, the front or both and they just look off to me. I suspect they aren't making custom step lengths for each vehicle and just have stock lengths and just go with something that "works".
  10. Yeah, the $1145 is what GMPD has listed for MSRP which is what I was going off of. My dealer however is selling them for $1259.50, and that's parts only, not even the installed price, which is why GMPD even with shipping would be cheaper. I've searched every online parts site and shipping is always outrageous on these steps. I did find one parts site that had them listed in the low $900s and shipping brought it to $1055, close to your deal. I may go that route if I can't get my dealer down to at least that price. Still waiting for a call back, I'm not holding out hope though. lol
  11. Oh, my dealer can get them now, even listed on the accessories website... for OVER MSRP! It would be cheaper paying the $300 shipping from GMPD. lol I asked if they can come down/match price, will see what they come back with.
  12. looks like they are cab length nerf steps
  13. Just because it can relearn within its current parameters doesn't mean there isn't a benefit to tune specifically for it. From what I've read the tune is to compensate for MAF sensor relocation. Plus this is the only intake to have CARB certification as well, so that likely has something to do with it as well.
  14. Sounds like your dealer is hiding all the unicorns. Enjoy!
  15. Well that, plus it's likely required for CARB certification.
  16. GMpartsdirect.com seems to have these in stock for ~$900. I just went to place my order and was a bit shocked at the $300+ shipping charge. Yeah f-that... They are likely to stay in stock a long time with those shipping costs. As much as I like the look of the high clearance steps I might have to go with something else.
  17. I agree with the poster above, switch the stock intake back on for a couple of a week and see if the issue disappears. If it doesn't then take it back to the dealer with the stock intake on, if the problem resolves well then you know what created the issue.
  18. Did you ever hear back from GM? I'm at a crossroads... while the Fortitudes were great on our first highway trip, they still aren't A/T tires and look puny on the AT4. The least GM could have done is at least give us taller versions if they wanted to stick on a make-believe A/T tire.
  19. After detailing my truck this weekend I noticed both of these issues. I measured my truck and the drivers side has the cab 6mm off from the bed (noticeable) and the pass side is 4mm off (visually looks spot on). So like you I'm not going to mess with it as it is within tolerance and 1mm isn't worth it. I did also noticed that bed to cab alignment is slightly off my 1/8" from drivers to pass. Not enough to visually detect over the length of the cab but it was just something I noticed while I had the tape measure out. Like others have noticed the passenger rear wheel is about 3/8-1/2" further out than the drivers side. While that seems like a lot it's less than 1/4" of axle movement from side to side. What I have also noticed is all the trucks I've seen this visually sit with the passenger side slightly lower (looking at the top of the tailgate) but a little bit. I'm wondering if the drivers side has a higher spring rate than the pass side which is contributing to the slight offset.
  20. Ditto this. Wife and I just took our first 8hr road trip and the AT4 seats were very comfortable and we were not sore or tired after the trip. Actually much more comfortable than my previous Tahoe and probably comparable to my wife's GLC. I find the key is to get the seat tilt adjusted properly (back and seat) to help distribute your weight better along with adjusting lumbar as needed.
  21. It's not a soft cover, but I installed the Bakflip MX4 on my truck and you can open & close tailgate w/o needing to open the cover. I do know they make one that fits the carbon pro bed as well.
  22. The new interior looks nice, I'm not sold on the shift handle though. I'm not seeing anything that is really "wow" that would make me choose that over a 2021, if I had to do it all over again.
  23. Interesting video. A bit long but lots of good info on intakes & their effectiveness over stock in various configurations.
  24. I ordered a BakFlip MX4 last week from etrailer with an estimated delivery date of 9/3. Unfortunately 9/3 came an went and then they said manufacturer would ship of 9/27. Since I needed the cover for an upcoming road trip I ended up cancelling and ordering from Amazon who had them in stock surprisingly and I got it in less than 24hrs.
