    Just buy a quality set of shorty headers. Less hassle, will work well.

    If the rear diif is a heavier unit, leave it be. If the original was a 10 bolt, I would of replaced it too.

    You cannot run 2 different ratios, they must match. Why would it take so long to rebuild?

    The Y pipe ships with cats welded on as one piece unit. Avoid the ebay/amazon crap, becauae if your state has emissions, you will have to replace them every year. Buy 4 new O2 sensors while you are at it.

    Take it to a trans shop if you have no warranty. You are rolling the dice on a scrap yard trans.

    Did these changes happen for MY14? Interesting and great ideas. Is the in tank exchanged on the drivers side of the rad? Need to go have a look at my truck once it stops raining.

    Look for another brand, ‘mishijunko’ (as my friend calls them) does not always like to support what they sell, quality seems hit and misd. Look at a cooler from a trans company, such as B&M. I thought the V8 trucks had an external trans cooler?

    MYC is the RPO code for the 6L80. Another sign of the 6 is a trans dipstick, if it has one, it’s the 6.

    If I had of went new, was going to get the 2.7, but scored a sweet deal on my truck. Modern diesels are not worth it, unless you are constantly working it. Too much emissions bs to make them worth the $$.

    My friend just bought a 2020 Custom, do these need to be programmed to work? Or can he i stall them and use them?

    You can buy Krown salt eliminator, works great on interior carpet. Book it when you book your Krown, they give a better price on the salt eliminator, was $19. They spray it on, let it dwell thrn rinse off with cold watet. It neutralizes all the road salt/chemicals but will not wash last year’s krown off.

    Krown salt eliminator wash every May followed by Krown rustproofing annually is the best way. The electronic gizmo do not work.

    i’m looking for exhaust recommendations for my 17 Silverado. I like a deep rumble, but not noisy/drone in the cab. Im also looking for something that will last, not rot away. What about single vs dual?

    Well said. I know quite a few people with MY14 and newer , no issues.

    Your issues sound like the 8 speed auto, that has nothing to do with the afm.
