  1. Is replacing the UCA required with the 5100’s?
  2. Gorgeous trucks. Im thinking about getting 5100’s to lift my nose up a bit. These wont stress the upper ball joints, correct?
  3. You wont find a decent new gen HD truck used unless you buy a lease return. Take the $30K now, see what they can do to get you in to an HD.
  4. FYI folks, he bought it in 2016. I would hold off a bit, it will be a buyers market real soon.
  5. Just want to confirm, new Upper UCA are not needed when going 5100’s?
  6. Great info. Are new UCA’s needed?
  7. Let us know how it performs after switching to Amsoil.
  8. Thanks. Will leave it be.
  9. Does the airaid MIT add any drone? If I go CAI, I want to stay with a dry filter. What CAI kits are recommended?
  10. With AFM & VVT I will not over extend my OCI either.
  11. Thanks. No park assist needed, I knew exactly where I was.
  12. My new to me Silvy - Silver Ice Metallic.
  13. Great info! I just bought a 2017 Silvy, will stick to those intervals at the maximum.
  14. I agree, these bicycle tires have no business on trucks.
  15. The V8 engines also suffer from horrible mpg when towing the max, so no difference. The difference is the GTDI 2.7 will get superior empty mpg. Thats what most light duty trucks do - drive around empty.
  16. The V8 engines also suffer from horrible mpg when towing the max, so no difference. The difference is the GTDI 2.7 will get superior empty mpg. Thats what most light duty trucks do - drive around empty. 66% of all F150 sales are Ecoboosts - says a lot for their engine program. The GTDI engines are here to stsy. I wish GM all the best, hopefully they have an I-6 GTDI to go along side with the I-4 in the 1500.
  17. The 2.7 EB will humiliate and small block and any LT. The 3.5 EB crushes the LT 6.2. The new GM GTDI 2.7 will sell like crazy, and should have an excellent tow rating. It will also outshine any V8, especially when it comes to passing a gas station.
  18. I think the new 2.7 will be a success like Ford’s Ecoboosts, particularly the 2.7 EB. Can’t wait to see the 3.0 Dmax numbers.
  19. Thankfully I have no plans on finding out about the afm system, I will be buying an ecoboost. No afm or oil guzzling to worry about, and dual injection takes care of carbon build up on intake vales that DI are known for.
  20. Gorgeous Truck! That is exactly what I planbon getting next time.
