Do you notice any difference in the ride? I'm toying with the idea of getting a set of 17's or 18's with LT snow tires for the winter. Keep running the OEM P metric 20's in the summer.

If you were closer, I'd think about it.

FYI, to use directions on the built in google maps, internet availability is needed. So one can pay the subscription ($15/$25), or you can connect to the hotspot on your phone. I had a chance to try it out yesterday, now that my free month of data is gone. I don't use any of the streaming music services, so can't speak on that. Assumption is streaming would work with hotspot also.

Here's my 1st major complaint about the refreshed 2022 trucks all pertaining to playing mp3s from a USB drive (Bose unit, but I doubt that makes a difference). - Can only select from 8 songs, 8 artists, or 8 albums while driving. Hope all your favorites start with the letter 'A'. - There is not scroll knob, instead you have to touch an arrow on the screen. But once you touch the arrow 3 times, it locks up, and says you can't do anything more do to driving. If GM thought we couldn't touch an arrow more than 3 times, then give me back my scroll knob. - No option to play by folder. Anybody work around this yet? I supposed I am going to have to get an ODBCII writer and change some parameters. Had to buy ODBCII writer with the VW, which had similar controls over equalizer and fader settings.

I recall a 10 year life on the battery. I do not recall where I got that information.

Ditto on putting under the gas tank cover. No problems with the one on the Colorado. Note, there is NOT one available for the refreshed 2022. The myChevrolet app has an unlock feature for the refreshed 2022, but that might entail having Onstar forever.

Yes, I got the nightshift blue. More of a blue/grey. Blue in sunshine, grey in shadows. Wife has the truck for a couple days out of town. I'll put some photos up later. I also got the NHT max towing package. Payload is lower than I expected at 1478 lbs. Previous truck was a Colorado.

My 3.0 Standard Box Crew Cab High Country refresh showed up at the dealer on Monday April 18th. Only thing missing is the heated back seats. Looking forward to something other than black, grey, or brown interior. I get it later today.

Ouch. I'd wait for the 2023 if that was my situation (if its any better). I don't think my spouse can safely park these massive sized trucks in the garage or a parking lot without the parking assist.

So the heavier springs, axle, 3.73 rear end, etc must add 140 (200 - 60) pounds to the vehicle weight. Might get more payload with 4 cylinder turbo, but your towing capacity drops to 9600 pounds and you get the 8 speed. I spent time looking at 2021s and payload at dealer lots and youtube videos. Look at the last 2 in the list, they are above 1800. Add 60 pounds payload for NHT and you are around 1850 pounds payload. Perhaps the 2022s are heavier than the 2021s, or the GMC is heavier than the Chevy. If you aren't maxing out your payload that often and are pulling a trailer, put the spare tire in the trailer. Be nice if they offered the carbon pro bed on all the trucks to increase the payload by 100 pounds. I talked to a person who runs a company that does the big power lines, briefly this morning. I asked him if the power grid could supply the electric if all vehicles were electric. He laughed, said the price of electric would double, and said he'd make a lot of money doing infrastructure upgrades because it isn't even close to being able to support such a thing.

I bought longer bolts and put some washers in my Colorado to change the angle. Not sure if the full size trucks seats are designed the same, but probably are.

Could you elaborate on how it makes the drive better? Is it mostly the freedom to move your shoulders and arms so they aren't in one location for 10 hours, or is there more to it than that? The best thing IMHO about cruise control is the freedom to move my right leg in the cabin on long drives.

Thanks for voicing your thoughts everyone. It appears members of this forum are generally not fans of super cruise. I like the adaptive cruise control in our VW Golf. But I drive 95% of the time on rural roads, with very little traffic. I do think the technology is very cool, but not useful for me and not something I would pay for.

I don't get the hoopla over super cruise. Hoping some people here can enlighten me. The commercial shows that I can tap along with the music with 2 hands, but that doesn't seem like a big deal to me. I just don't get in what situation I would ever use it. Perhaps I could starting smoking, eating, texting, and drinking in my vehicle. I know how to pass with a trailer (rarely happens, since I'm driving slow). Some examples of how super cruise will make the driving experience better would be appreciated. Also, any thoughts on future software updates possibly enhancing super cruise (so I can take a nap while driving, which would be really sweet).
