As the title suggests the USB music is exhibiting erratic behavior. Sometimes folder view is not available (it is not indexing as the flash drive was not removed). When returning to vehicle and turning on key, the music played will typically be what I was last listening to; sometimes it will randomly play something else. Sometimes it shows “No Media Found” then after a period of time when it does recognize the USB it shows “No Artist Info”. The song title will display but no artist or album title. When this happens there is no sound and adjusting the volume control has no effect. If I press radio the sound works, then pressing media and now the sound works and the song title, artist and album display correctly. 2017 Silverado LT. The USB is Patriot Slate 3.1 256GB NTFS. I have another one which works fine in a 2017 Corvette. The owner’s manual page 203 states USB format FAT16/32 or ex FAT is recognized but NTFS is not. Page 201 states USB 2.0. However, page 27 of the Infotainment manual states that it supports file systems FAT32 and NTFS. So, what to believe? What do you guys think? Anyone have the same or similar issues?

Hello everyone. I purchased a complete set of LED bulbs to replace all the stock bulbs for my 2012 GMC Sierra 2500 HD. In addition, I upgraded the tail lights and the head light assemblies as well to house these new bulbs. I'm very happy with the complete change-over except for the hyper flash issue I'm having with the new LED turn signals. Originally, I thought I could just replace the original flasher for an LED flasher that doesn't monitor the load on the circuit and therefore operates normally with the light-loaded LED upgrade. Turns out that the 2012 doesn't have a flasher and it's the BCM that controls the turn signal lights. From what I've researched, it appears that the BCM can be programmed to allow the use of LED's by changing the configuration of the BCM to a "cab/chassis" setup where the vehicle would accept the LED tail lights. I'm guessing that with changing everything including front turn signal bulbs to LED, the BCM reprogram to "cab/chassis" will not fix my issue because I've changed the front turn signals to LED as well. The other option I've researched is installing load resistors for every LED bulb. That seems a bit outrageous and hacking into the original wiring harness is not what I'd prefer as it makes it more susceptible to malfunction, corrosion, etc. not to mention the heat these resistors tend to give off, if installed improperly, can begin causing a whole other bundle of issues. So my question is, will the BCM reprogram resolve the hyper flash issue? Depending where you are but most dealers will charge $120 - $200 for the 3 minutes it takes to plug in but if it fixes the issue, I'd rather go that route instead of hacking my wiring harness. Thanks in advance for any help!

Have a range module for sale. Bought it for my 2016 5.3. Ran it for a couple of weeks and decided I just didn't want it. Basically brand new, selling it for $125.00. Let me know if you're interested.

Hello! Yesterday I acquired a 2003 Silverado with 140,000 miles on the engine. Today I was going over the truck and I washed out the bottom very thoroughly. Got a little bit of rust dust and some chips of undercoating off. I really went to town cleaning the underside. After this I took the truck for a little drive and started to get a flashing check engine light. The truck seemed to drive fine at speed but when I pulled off onto a side street it felt like it was misfiring a little bit, rough idle. I turned off the truck and turned it back on and the flashing CEL returned after a few seconds. I started to head back home and after about 30 seconds the light went away. I have driven it a few times since then and nothing has come back. I had nothing before washing out the bottom. What could be the cause of this? Thanks for all replies!

I have just took out my instrument cluster to replace my odometer gear. When I put everything back in I noticed that my parking brake light keeps on flashing when it is not even engaged. This only started happening after I removed and replaced the cluster. Any help would be must appreciated, thanks!

transmission failed in my Silverado the other day at 103k, bought a used one with 32k miles and I am swapping it here at the house. I know I would need to re flash a reman transmission but what about a used one that came out of the same vehicle?

Hello, as the title states. I installed LED Switchbacks for my turn signals, and I installed LED Marker and LED Running lights on the front of my truck. After I installed these I didn't have much of an issue that I noticed, But I unplugged one of the marker lights while we were cruising last night because the socket is a little messed up and would not stay on.. After that I noticed that my headlights were not flashing when I unlocked the truck like they use too.. All the lights would usually flash when I unlocked my truck (except for the DRL) My radio also was acting funny as the Bluetooth was all spotty and wouldn't stay connected. and it no longer works, it refuses to connect to my phone. Would this be "LED Interference" as I have heard little parts about before? if anyone has anything that could help me it would be appreciated.

2016 L83 5.3L 6 speed 4WD, normally running on 87 regular, no access to E85 anywhere near me. Is it worth while to purchase a tuner without doing anything else? I have not changed tire sizes or done a darn thing other than cosmetic things. I mean, down the road, may do CAI and exhaust... but to start with a tune, is it a waste of money to buy a tuner 1st or should the CAI & exhaust come 1st and worry about the tuner later on? If it's worth it, I'd rather start with the tuner as it's invisible... the exhaust and intake are kind of in your face obvious.
