  1. Any information on ordering factory wheel well liners. I have a 2020 GMC SLT that has the felt or carpet type wheel liners on it. I despise this new type liner, so hard to clean, and it’s a dirt magnet. I would like to have the plain hard plastic ones. Is there anyone that can locate part numbers for the old style liners. I prefer to have factory parts as I’ve read that the after market ones sometimes takes a lot of fabrication to properly. Vin number attached
  2. 2014 Silverado LTZ crew cab 4x4 I recently put my rear air ride suspension on and waiting for my 3in motofab leveling kit to come in. With the 3in kit up front what tire size can I go to now? Will I need a bigger rim? Do you have any pictures of stock rim with bigger/beefier tires? Do you have any pictures of larger rims with bigger ties? Currently running stock rim with gy 275/55r20 all terrains
  3. So, I have been having this sound coming from the front right wheel. I thought it was the wheel bearing but it doesn't really sound like it too much to me. I thought to maybe grease the fittings as well but I wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this problem before. Thanks! (Skip to the end for a better sound). New Recording 7.m4a
  4. Hey everyone! I have been browsing the forums for about 6 months now and finally pulled the trigger on a 2020 RST about 3 weeks ago. I am looking to get some black wheels with some all terrains before winter. I am leaning towards OEM black wheels of some type as I have had better luck with OEM wheels holding up to these Minnesota winters. Does anyone have these 18" OEM wheels (84641199)? I would love to see these on a vehicle! I was also thinking of finding a set of Trail Boss wheels but I don't care for the looks of those as much. Lastly I found a few of these sets on Ebay, they appear to be my current wheels but in Black. I can't seem to find anywhere saying that these came from the factory in Black, but I think they look great! Thanks everyone!!
  5. Sorry for the long post. This has been a headache to try and find “factual” information on instead of “opinions”. I have a 2019 Silverado work truck V-6 , 6 speed, with 3:42 gearing. I have a stock suspension. The 2019 work truck comes with three tire options From factory. 1. 17" 255/70R17 all-season, blackwall tires (my current tire) 2. 17" 265/65R17 all-terrain, blackwall tires 3. 17" LT265/70R17C all-terrain, blackwall tires However, ... the Silverado Custom (with the same 3:42 gearing) comes with the following tire opens. 1.20” 275/60R20 all-season, blackwall tires 2. 20”275/60R20SL all-terrain, blackwall tires 3. 22” 275/50R22SL all-season, blackwall tires My current truck has the 17” 255/70R17 all seasons. I love my truck, but I absolutely hate these tires/wheels. They look like baby wheels on a big truck. Way too much fender well free space. Looks like the truck missed “leg day“. My question is if I purchase the OEM wheels and tires for the custom, is there any issue with them fitting my work truck? As far as I know both trucks have the exact same suspension, body clearance, control arms, wheel well clearance, etc. I was looking at going with the 20”275/60R20SL all-terrain, blackwall tires. The only changes that I could forsee that would happen are the following... 1. An increase in wheel diameter of current 31.1” increasing to 33”. 2.a width increase from 10” to 10.8” 3. A sidewall decrease from 7” to 6.5” 4. A revs/mile decrease from 650 to 612 (affecting speedometer speed by .058%) 5. A new effective gear ratio of 3.22:1 6. A change in tire run pressure from 35psi to 32psi. (Annoyingly setting of my TPMS “low pressure” alarm ) several questions.... 1.will these custom tires fit my work truck? I can’t Find any reason that they won’t 2. Will the dealer reprogram my speedometer for the percentage difference, and replacard/reprogram my ECM with the new psi setting to 32psi. (Not sure if they will since the Vin number of my truck does not include these tire size as “options“.) I really don’t want my low pressure alarm going off 24/7. 3. Will I noticed the change in new affective gear ratio from 3.42, to 3.22? (I’m assuming I won’t since it is the exact same gearing/tire size as the custom. Man, there sure is a lot to changing a tire size. Almost doesn’t even seem worth the trouble. Am I going down a bad rabbit hole? Just an FYI, I am not interested in lift kits, aftermarket speedometer programmers, etc. . Would like to stick OEM as much as possible.
  6. Hey everyone - first post here and just bought a new-to-me 2014 Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71 all stock. This is also my first truck so I'm definitely a newbie and if I'm asking some simple questions I apologize, but I couldn't find the answers I was looking for on other topics. Basically, what I'd like to do is level my pickup. I thought about doing maybe a small lift but I don't really want to fork out the money and I think the leveled Chevy looks just fine. Any recommendations for this? Seen people put on 2 or 2 1/2" level kits - difference between my wheel well heights is pretty much exactly 2 inches. The other thing that I'm having more difficulty making sense of is a wheel and tire combo. Currently, I've got P265/65/R18 on it. What I'd like to do is get a bit more rugged look while also getting more ground clearance for a bit of offroading, and hopefully not affecting fuel economy and ride quality too much, but I understand you gotta sacrifice somewhere. What I'm having trouble understanding is if I should get larger wheels or taller tires to achieve the ground clearance part. I've read that getting larger wheels can mess with your speedometer and such. Any advice on if I should stick with my 18's right now, and if I end up buying new wheels one day should I also stick with 18's then? If I went ahead and got my pickup leveled, which (or both) would help me get that better ground clearance? Increasing tires or wheels? What's the largest combo you'd recommend (with the level) that still prevents rubbing? Definitely want to get that rugged look but I haven't been able to determine which route to chase down, as the options seem limitless out there for what you can do. Could I just get bigger, more rugged, maybe wider tires to put on my stock 18's? Thanks in advance to anyone willing to give a newbie some advice.
  7. Planning on leveling my 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE with the 3” front 2” rear MOTOFAB leveling kit. Currently have stock wheels/tires on it which are 255/70R17. Thinking about jumping up to 18” wheels instead but wanted to know how much of a difference the 17” to 18” jump would make in appearance. I was able to find plenty of pictures with 18” wheels but are there any photos out there of leveled /lifted trucks with 17” rims?
  8. Ever since my last oil change and recall service to the brake pad sensors, I have been hearing a frequent double popping noise on the right side of my truck, seemingly favoring the front wheel area. This noise is impossible to forcibly repeat, however, like clockwork it always occurs twice (two double pops) on my way to and from work (and yes, the road is absolutely smooth, no bumps or pot holes to cause this). This typically occurs at around 60mpg and every 5-10 miles. Everyone I have talked to including the service department at my local GM have no clue what is going on. The truck will be going into the shop soon for troubleshooting. Any ideas what might be going on? Anyone with a similar issue?
  9. I am buying new tires and have read nothing but good things about the Nitto Ridge Grapplers (35x12.5x20). I decide that there is no downside to trying them out, and start the process to buy them and notice the only come in an F rated 12 ply. Is anyone else running this tire on a 1500? How is the ride on it? Also what PSI are you running the tire at. I believe the 35x12.5x18 Ridge Grappler is F rated as well.
  10. Just remove with 10k in miles on them , installed custom wheels. Located in Arlington, TX 500.00 obo
  11. Ran across these wheels while searching for a 17" steel wheel for my '14 GMC Sierra. I currently have 20s. Was just looking. Anyone have any experience with these wheels? Supposedly GM wheels Made in USA. Will they fit? Offset doesn't look right. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JFMVVF8/?coliid=I1YICWDNZHWXND&colid=EH462CXEB9SS&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it http://www.wheelsexpressonline.com/17-silverado-tahoe-yukon-sierra-wheels-rims-6-lug-178655gm-178655gm
  12. I have a set of 2019 Chevy Colorado rims that are 18x8.5 and 6x120 and they come with tpms already installed. These will fit any 15-19 Colorado and the tpms just need to be programmed to the vehicle. MSRP on these rims and sensors are $2310.08 before tax and core charge (which is $50 per rim). I'm looking for $1600 obo they do not come with tires or center caps. Message me if you have any questions. I have more pictures of the back of the rims showing they are genuine GM rims but they are to large of a file to upload.

  14. I am trying to figure out if it is possible to install a steering wheel from a 2007 Silverado into my 2000 Silverado. Reason for doing so is because (1) my brothers 2007 steering wheel is a lot more comfortable then the steering wheel I have in my truck and (2) it looks better. I am not here to have people hate on this. I may not even do this, but I am curious on if this will work or not. I have been attempting to do reasearch, however I am finding nothing, so: Will the 2007 steering wheel be able to be installed into the 2000? Will the airbag harness of the 2000 connect to the airbag of the 2007? Will the 2007 airbag have issues being connected to a 2000? I know there is a large difference in years. I am just curious as it was simple to swap the front end of my 2000 with a 2004.
  15. I recently bought a 2016 Silverado 2500HD 2wd truck and I’m interested in dressing it up a little. Not a fan of the factory 17” steel wheels. I don’t think the size bothers me, they’re just ugly. I don’t have any plans to level it out, but I would like to fill the wheel well up better. I’m curious what would be the tallest and widest tire I could run on it with a 17”x8” wheel with a 00mm offset without experiencing rubbing or issues. The tires I plan on running will be the Falken Wildpeak AT3W. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
  16. WTB 20" factory GM wheels for my 2015 Silverado. Tires aren't really an issue, because I'm looking to go oversized anyway. I have a 2" RC level kit, so I'm thinking a 285/55-20. Either way, I'm looking for a damage free set of 20" OEM wheels (preferably with working sensors). If you need a set of wheels in trade, I have a 17" set from my LT. They are in perfect condition and tires have 19k miles on them. I'm in middle TN, so I'd prefer to stay local-ish to avoid shipping, but I'm willing to drive a reasonable distance for the right deal.
  17. Hey everyone... recently switched from a f150 to my 2018 elevation, love the truck so far but wana do some mods.. This post will be mainly on swapping the factory steering wheel to a leather one with volume control (gota have it lol) I got the base model in the pic below and just looking, who knows how to swap it and what it take to get it done. Also is it simply plug and play or will the car need to be reprogrammed to allow the controls to work with the radio. On another note if anyone has a good spot to get parts let me know. I got a few other projects I plan on doing such as Rear sear replacement from the bench to a 60/40 Leatherseats.com replacements (after the bench replace) Tint (anyone got good brand reviews or experiences?) Possible change from flip front sear to consul (big job and expensive lol) I hope some one on here can help ill be sure to post pics as I get the project going.
  18. For all your questions on whether or nota certain tire will fit such with such lift and wheel combo, check out this website called custom offsets. They have videos of every lift and tire wheel combo u can think of. You can even search based on year of vehicle tire size etc. https://www.customwheeloffset.com/wheel-offset-gallery?page=1
  19. Hey there, i wanna know if im able to upgrade my steering wheel from my silverado 1500 to the leather, stitched, heated wheel that you find in the LTZ / Z71 trucks. If there is a way lemme know step by step how to do it! thanks
  20. Hey everyone, I've owned lifted and lowered vehicles for years, but typically bought them way way. I've never actually done much of the customization myself. I know someone will say something like, try searching the site.....blah, blah, blah. Well, I have and there's so much good (and BS) information out there that it makes my head spin. Let me see if I can sum this up as quickly as possible. I have a 2016 Crew Cab 4x4 Silverado (deep ocean blue metallic) that I bought new last year. I had a leveling kit installed at the dealership (it was cheaper than the other places that I talked with), my truck came with 17's, which I absolutely hate. They're super tiny and look out of place. My plan is to upgrade to 20's and I want to put the largest tire that I can fit without rubbing. I've read about people putting 32, 33 & 34 inch tires on and claim that none of them rub. I'm not so confident about their claims. My other dilemma is that I do no like the look when the tires stick out several inches from the wheel well. That may be great for some people, but not for me. Ideally, I would like the tires to be flush with the wheel wells, but if they were to stick out a half an inch or so I would be ok with that. This is where we have to deal with backspacing. I'm sure that it is a simple concept, but it confuses me for some reason. A little bit too much, or too little, will make things look silly. I'm assuming that a 20x9 or 20x10 would be the best option, but I'm not sure. Let me know what you guys, and gals, think. Thanks in advance for your help.
  21. Looking for recommendations on tire/ wheel set up for my 2017 GMC Sierra Crew Cab, I will not be doing anything to the suspension ( no level or lift). I want to keep that stock for now. I have the chrome clad 20 inch wheel with the 275/55/20 tire. Thinking about black or black and chrome wheels and maybe running them on the Falkin Wildpeak AT3Ws. Any thoughts or suggestions? Attached is a pic of my truck, all stock right now.
  22. For sale are the tires, rims, lugs nuts, from my stock wheels. These are are my 2017 Silverado 1500 LT Z71. Tires/wheels were taken off before the truck hit 1,000 miles, so they are practically new. (4) Goodyear Wrangler Trailmark Tires P265/65R18 112T $600 (4) OEM Silverado Rims 18" $550 (4) set of stock lug nuts $50 (4) stock valve stems Free with tires I'm willing to sell the complete listing for $1,000. There is zero damage or scratches to the tires/rims Please text/call (515) 971-0596 if interested. The items are located in Ankeny, Iowa just outside of Des Moines.
  23. Wanted opinions on these wheels/tires. Are they worth $900.00. These are local to me so no shipping. Thoughts? 20" 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT wheels & tires for sale (4 wheels/tires). 2,400 miles on them. TPMS sensors are included with wheels. One wheel has minor curb rash in 2 places. Looking to have a second set of wheels identical to the ones on my '14 and install aggressive tires for winter. What could I get for the 4 GoodYear SRA tires?
  24. Hi guys, Got a 2016 Sierra 1500 All Terrain X, all stock, no level. I don't understand much about wheel and tire dimensions, wheel offset, etc. I need advice on a wheel combo I have seen on Dodge Ram that looked sick. Will this wheel and tire combo fit each other? What offset do I need? I don't mind if it sticks out past the fenders a bit. Do I need a level? Front only? Front and back? Shock/body level? Can I get away with no level? What other questions should I be asking? Found the specs here https://www.wheel-size.com/size/gmc/sierra-1500/2016/#trim-53i-usdm Truck Bolt Pattern: 6/139.7mm (6/5.5in) Offset: 24mm What I found. The wheel and tire combo Ruffino Brute 2: 20 x 9 with 6/139.7 bolt pattern. Offsets available -12, 0 and 12 http://www.1010tires.com/Wheels/Ruffino/BRUTE+II/Painted/Gloss+Black/Machined+Face Federal Courgia M/T 33x12.5 https://www.tires-easy.com/33-12.50-20/federal-tires/couragia-m-t/tirecode/46QC0AFE
  25. So i just bought 275 65 r18 bfgoodrich ko2's and am looking to get wheels with a more aggressive offset. my wheels right now are a positive 18 which is i believe the same as stock and I am looking into an 18x9 with a -12 offset, does anybody run this here, and if so was there any trimming necessary after installation of these wheels?
