Anybody Live In/near Charlottesville?

Wife and I are thinking about moving to that area.

No, I don't know anything about your job becoming available.

Our kids moved to Alexandria so the wife is wanting to be closer in case any grandkids pop out.

Looking to get a feel of areas to look at, say 50 mile radius, for housing or land to build on.

Local newspaper.

Local real estate books.

Job market condition.

Etc.

  I am reminded we actually have a deposit on one. The other half did this before we sorted out our next EV purchase. So, we will be applying for our refund. It was only $50 to save a spot in line. Instead, we will be taking delivery of a 2027 BMW iX3 M Sport in November. Already ordered and the production date is set for September. We considered a Rivian R3, briefly considered a BMW i4, more fun but less practical, and gave the new Scout some scrutiny as well, but we need to replace a car in November so the timing isn't right. We looked at Volvos too but they weren't quite our speed. Nice cars, and I was disappointed to hear Polestar is exiting the US market.

  Hey Newdude, I can honestly say that nothing has contaminated the controls. They actually replace the controller 3 weeks ago. I don't eat or drink in any of my vehicles so I know it is not that. But thanks for the input.

  Sorry to hear replacing the starter didn’t fix anything. My truck has been annoying with a few issues too. Some of them I would have thought to be an easy fix and they can’t seem to figure out.
