Miss Fire And Low Cylinder Pressure

I have a 2000 GMC Sonoma with a 4.3L. I have a missfire in number 5 cylinder. A mechanic buddy of mine checked the cylinder pressure and said it was low.

The cylinder starts to fire around 3k RPS.

Is the engine cooked? How can I tell if it can be fixed?

  Ha!! So GM Customer service, ive already been talking with someone on your email team and there is nothing they can do. So pretty consistent with everyone else’s experience- you can do NOTHING.. worthless emails. Sure glad i have 4 GM cars on our family cuz now its clear you dont care.. Sad and pathetic.
