Belltech 6400 Shackles On '03 Gmc Sierra...torque Specs?

First post and I am already bugging people for help. If any of you could help me out, I would very much appreciate it.

 

Year: 2003

Make: GMC

Model: SIERRA 1500

Engine: 4.3L V6

Transmission: Automatic

 

Suspension:

- Currently stock height

- To be lowered 2" in the back to level height

- Components to be used: Belltech 6400 Shackle Kit

- Shocks Used: Stock

 

I seem to be having trouble finding the torque Specifications needed to complete the project. Either that or I am rusty on my Google skills. I have looked and looked. I tried searching these forums but the "search flood control" has been enable by the admin.

 

The instructions call for a 0-75LB Torque Wrench, which I have, but omits the torque specs since this product can be used on many vehicles. If you could help me out I would be very much appreciate it. The closest I have come is someone telling me "Not too tight, not too loose"...that is not how I do things. If it comes down to it, I'll torque to 70lb and call it a day (Given that is calls for no more than 75lb), but I feel that finding out what GM really calls for would be for the best.

The Post HERE states:

 

Rear Leaf Spring Shackle Nut - 1500, 2500, 3500

95 N·m

70 lb ft

 

....but of course that is for a 2008 Chevy 4WD.

 

 

I'll keep looking.....hopefully MS3DALE reads this and can provide me a light like he did in that post I linked to.

Yahoo answers - Best guesses (15lb - 20lb they said)

Dealership - Did not even try

AutoZone - No Clue

Summit Racing - "I have no reference source available that shows a torque spec on this."

 

I got it via JustAnswer.com GMC Section .... I had to pay $10 bucks but I got it

 

Shackle to Frame Bracket Nut 95 N·m 70 lb ft

Shackle to Spring Nut 95 N·m 70 lb ft

 

How can people complete a project like this with out doing it right....
