Cranking The T-bars

Ok guys, so I want to crank the torsion bars on my '96 Sierra 2500, I'm just wanting a little less rake. I've never did this, I've only did the strut style, so is there a good How-To for this. Also I should be able to get away with just cranking the stock key's a little, and not need after market key's correct?
