Oil Level Low Message

Keep getting the DIC message upon startup "Engine oil level is low. Add oil". However, when I check the oil level, it's full. Why would I be getting this message when the oil is actually not low? Didn't start doing this until the oil life got below 80%.

 

2007 NBS 4.8L

 

Any ideas??

You could try resetting the oil life monitor and see if the error goes away. Other than that, the only other thing I can think of is the sensor on the oil pan could be bad.
