3inch Body Lift/steering Shaft

I have the steering clunk bad again and would like to replace my ISS with the new no grease one. I have a 3 inch body lift. My question is: How does my ISS add the extra length for the lift (had lift installed by someone else)? And if it uses an extender piece will it work with a new style shaft?

Yes its and extender piece used at least the the PA 3" bl I used. I am 99% sure an aftermarket ISS will work fine with the extender.
