Gmt900 Extended Cab Windows

I searched and can't find any related topics or posts. I thought I read somewhere that somebody said the extended cab windows on a GMT900 truck have a power window motor installed, were rolled up on the assembly line, and fixed shut with a screw or something.

 

Also, I've seen extended cabs with these rear windows down, does anybody know if there are any manual rear windows for these trucks?

Oops didn't read it correctly they do go down mine our power not sure if there is manual roll down though??

Not sure what info your after but my 09 SLT ex cab has rear power windows, I can control them from the drivers seat or anyone who is in the back can also power them up or down.

Sorry, I was a little unclear. I wanted to know if it's true that the door already has a window motor installed on the trucks that do not have power windows. And if the windows are on a track and are capable of having a motor and wiring installed. I thought I read somehwere that they were.

 

And I was curious if anybody had manual rear windows, but after riding in my truck at lunch, I don't see much room for a handle to fit to make it practical.

It is my understanding that the only way they go down is if they are power windows.

 

To be certain what is there you would probably just have to remove the interior door panel.

How else would the back windows in the ext cab open?

buddy has a w/t. they are fixed. either power or fixed no manual

They are powered in my extended cab, my gf caughter wouldn't like it; the extended cab window was fixed and couldn't be powered down...
