Spark Control Module? Help!

Please i need help my truck recently had a new tranny put in and now a scan tool said it had spark control module code up i have no idea what it is what it looks like where its located how or much its going to cost, all i know is my truck is a gutless wonder becuase of this fualty module if you have any information it would be greatly appreciated
