Folding Mirrors

Hi All, great forum here.....the last few days the power folding mirrors on my '05 silverado crew cab started sticking....as in being jittery and not folding fully. Is there a lubricant you can use to help them along....tks johnniep

you would have to disassemble them to get any lube in there. You might try folding them in by hand all the way a few times to cycle them. They still have that safety feature so if someone bumps them in the parking lot they will fold in versus braking something.

ok thanks......seems they only do it when parked in the sun for a few hours......once they're

cooled of they're ok...
