Front End Squeak On '04 Tahoe

Recommended Posts

I have an '04 Tahoe with 61K miles on the clock. It has recently developed a squeak in the front end. It does it while driving on almost any surface up until I assume wind noise drowns it out. I can duplicate the noise by pushing down the front end on the passenger side. It takes very little pressure to make it squeak. I have been told that there is a TSB to replace the shock insulator but I am not sure that is my issue. The part is $14 at Napa but money is tight so I'd like to be as sure as possible before I start replacing parts.

Thanks

I would just replace my shocks with the mileage you have on them. Listen to see if the squeak might be coming from the upper or lower control arm bushings also. But if money is tight, the insulators can be had for around $10 or so
