Trans Go Hd-2 Kit

I installed a TransGo HD-2 kit about 3 weeks ago now and have been very happy with it. I opened the 1-2 accumulator today to adjust the 1-2 shift (with shims from the kit) and I noticed something that worried me and thought you all should know to save the trouble I had to deal with. GM uses a POS plastic 1-2 accumulator piston. Mine was cracked in three places in the pin bore, I assume from side force. I was able to locate a Sonnex pin less design today from PATC. They also recommended the 3-4 pinless but you dont have to as it is steel. The forward Piston is also plastic and will be replaced by the Sonnex

have the 1-2 and 3-4 pinless accumulators and forward piston kits inbound on the big brown sliegh. Hopefully this doesnt happen to anyone else as I have seen a few members just instal this kit recently. I will take pictures tonight after dinner of the POS and its cracks.

I also found the seperator plate was worn at three of the check ball locations. This is common for these tranny's but damn at only 43,000 it pisses me off. I tow ALOT but this amount of wear should not have happened already!
