Where Can I Buy A Gmpp Cold Air Intake?

Looking to get one for my 2010 silverado 5.3l. Any ideas on where I can get one?

If I recall correctly, the GMPP CAI's were only made for the 07-08, gmt-900's then discontinued.

That is not entirely correct. They did make one for the 09 model, which will also work on the 10 models. They discontinued it in Sept of 09 I believe, and up until recently, there were a few of them available. I am not sure there are any more now, but the chance always exists I suppose.

I was fortunate enough to find one, and I am absolutely pleased with it.

Any ideas why they discontinued them? From what I have seen and read, they work really well and there is still a demand for them. I would buy one in a heartbeat especially since having all the problems with the Volant CAI.

I would think that your local dealership would be able to find one for you by searching the dealer network.

I found mine at www.chevypartsplus.com . I am not sure exactly what their operation is, but I know they had access to look at dealer inventories. There were less than 20 showing available in the country, and they were able to get mine from one of the dealers. I posted this in another thread a few months back, and from what I remember, the members of this board bought every one that they could get. I am not sure that there are any left, but it might be worth it to look them up and give them a call.
