I recently put on a pair of magnaflows to replace the flowmaster super 40s I had on before because of the same reason. There is little difference between the 18" super 40s and the 24" magnaflows on the highway. My system is a 2.5" true dual system. I have roughly 300 miles on them so far. Will they mellow out after a certain point or get louder?

 

Im aware of resonators and dynomats etc but with my mufflers being 24" this thing really shouldnt be loud. My flowmasters were only slightly louder.

 

Any help would be appreciated.
