194 Chev Silverado And Its "possessed Radio"

My 1994 Siverado radio intermittently operates. It may come on when it feels like it and works fine .Then if you apply the brakes it stops,when you release the brake pedal the radio resumes operation, use the signal lights and the auto reverse on the tape deck switches channels in back and forth with the directional signals. I am confused

I am assuming this is the factory deck? Chances are the actual Tuner down below is bad. That has happened with both of my trucks. (my 91 GMC had the tape deck and such)

 

Personally, after replacing it with an aftermarket unit, it has cleared up. I may have some factory tuners or head units around, but yeah. I would just replace it. I think some places like Jensen make aftermarket units with a tape deck too.
