Need Help. Front End Bounce

hi,i have a problem with my 1995 4x4 silverado ext cab,i have a bounce in the front end that only happens between 42mph-45mph,below and above that it speed it is gone and don`t know what it could be.i put on new half shafts on both sides,new front shocks and had the tires balanced and i still have the bounce.all the bushings in the front look good and there is no play in the tires when i try to move them so im pretty sure the tie rods and ball joints are good and the torsion bars are strong,does anybody have any idea`s what might cause this bounce.

they look good,the bounce i feel seems to be coming from the drivers side front .

My first reaction is to tell you to drive 41 or 46, that is what I would do if it were my truck. But that isn't very productive so I'll ask, how did you have the tires balanced? Was it with a normal spin balancer or a radial force variation balancer?

think they did a normal spin balance,i talked to a guy today about this problem and he said to have them spin balance them and mark the tire where the heavy side and the light side are then break the bead on the tire and rotate the heavy side part of the tire and put it on the light side of the rim inturn would put the tire in balance then spin balance again and put weight on if needed.the guy i talked to worked at a chevy dealership for 11yrs and said that they had to do this with new vehicles that came in,im going to have this done to see if this will fix the problem.

You could do that but it isn't the best way. You could do this and spin balance them several times before getting rid of all bounce. I would find a shop that does radial force balancing and matching. Some radial force balancing machines (perhaps all of them, I'm not sure) will direct the mechanic to break down the tire and show exactly what position to remount the tire and even which tire should go in which location on the vehicle to minimize push pull issues. Balancing in this fashion is a bit more expensive but really really worth it, especially for someone that is very picky about vibrations.
