Cd Player Install

I'm getting a factory CD player for my 07 nbs truck, what do I need from the truck that I'm getting it from for the dealer to install it (I would call and ask but they are closed now and i'm buying it tonight)

My truck has just a radio, will the 6 disk cd player work?

I am guessing the harness in the truck would be the same no matter what radio you have. Should just plug in

Just a reprogram from the dealer. They will have to reset the theftlock and reprogram the cd player to correct the speaker output. I believe the 6 disks only came w/ the bose system. They will have to "teach" the radio what speaker package your truck has so it will increase the wattage to accomodate the lack of the bose external amp.

 

I replaced my 09 factory mp3 single cd with a 2010 6 disk radio with usb. Everything installed just like that was the radio the truck came with. Except for the reprogram.
