Updates To Tnr Radios

Hi,

I have a 2006 Sierra that has the TNR Bose radio. My wife has an Equinox that I put the Nav radio in and they defiantly added some better graphics along with better interface. I was wondering if anyone here knows of updates that make the TNR more modern or if anyone has a suggestion on updated software for more current maps. GM wants waaaaaaay too much for the new maps.

I also was interested in seeing if anyone has hacked their TNR or done anything special with their radios.

  Ha!! So GM Customer service, ive already been talking with someone on your email team and there is nothing they can do. So pretty consistent with everyone else’s experience- you can do NOTHING.. worthless emails. Sure glad i have 4 GM cars on our family cuz now its clear you dont care.. Sad and pathetic.
