03 Cruise Not Working After Stuck In Snow

I have seen a few other people with close to the same year truck as mine have the same problem with the cruise control but haven't really seen a common solution. My cruise control stopped working a couple days back and all the fuses are good and all the brake/ turn signal lights work. I got stuck in some deep snow then went to the car wash so Im guessing one of those 2 things are a factor. I have read some posts about others who had cruise problems after getting into some deep snow or mud, but no solution. just wondering if anyone knows what the fix is for this ive tried taking the battery post off to reset it and still nothing. if I tap the cruise button rapidly the light on the dash will slightly flicker but cruise will not engage.

I can't help with a fix, but I'm curios as well since I've got the same problem. I got stuck a week or so ago and now my cruise quit working.

 

Anyone have any information on this? Please help.

I would check your trailer plug. Maybe even unplug it and try it. Then check your brake light switch...usually one of those two.
