For Sale 2009 GMC Sierra 1500 Extended Cab Pickup 4x4 with GMC 'All Terrain" Package, 6.0L engine and 6-speed automatic transmission. Silver Grey Metallic paint (I think GM calls it "Storm Grey")

I am the original owner, bought this new in May 2009 with a 5 year / 100,000 mile extended Bumper to Bumper GM warranty, fully transferrable to the new owner.

Truck has 23,000 miles, mostly highway (all highway commute to work and vacation house in PA) and the most off road it has seen is a gravel driveway.

This truck has been meticulously maintained and was never used for work and never been used to tow anything. The body is clean, no dings, no dents, not a scratch anywhere on it. The pain and the chrome are bright and shiny. Never been in an accident, never been towed. Looks like it just rolled out of the factory.

The interior is mint, seats and carpets are clean. No smell, I am a non smoker and don't let people smoke in my car, ever.

The Engine has a GM performance exhaust (Covered by the warranty) and a VOLANT cold air intake installed. These two items bump the low end power a little, and also gave me a couple extra miles per gallon over stock. The exhaust adds a better tone and a little rumble, but is not loud or obnoxious. It doesn't attract any extra attention or police with sound meters for that matter. The 6.0L engine has awesome power and with the "Displacement on Demand" system still gets decent mileage by shutting off the fuel supply to 4 of the 8 cylinders when the extra power isn't needed. It happens so smoothly you never notice it and your only indication is the readout on the dash telling you its in V4 mode.

The 6-speed transmission has the ability to manually select the gears with a thumb switch on the shifter as well as a towing mode for pulling and stronger shifting.

I had a second battery installed with a yellow top Optima deep cycle battery. You can park and shut off the engine and leave the lights and radio on for half a day with no worries. I have left the radio on for 5 hours and the truck starts right up every time, even in the coldest day, it turns over without hesitation. Its nice for parties out side or a barbque, leave the doors open and the radio on, even the lights if you need them. Hours later it will fire right up. The yellow top optima is the best battery you can buy for a car.

The Bed has a sprayed in RHINO liner that has a rubberlike texture and is warranted for life. All paperwork is included for the liner and it looks great. The picture below is without the liner. The liner is black and covers the top rail of the bed as well.

The factory "All Terrain" package is one of the best values in the GMC line up. The package includes several options that are available in this package only, like the wheels and dashboard. A full list is below but there aren't too many of these trucks in this area. Its definitely a standout among stock trucks.

A heavy duty towing package gives you a frame mounted tow receiver and full wiring, plus accessory coolers. Along with the All Terrain package, it gives this truck a capacity for most trailers short of motor homes.

Truck is still being driven by me daily and is available for inspection. Due to the weather, I cannot promise it will be sparkling clean, but you will see its mint condition.

$31,000 negotiable. Title is in my name and shows a lien, but I have the lien release paperwork to go with it. Email me with any questions or for pics and I will answer or take specific pictures as needed.

Below is a full list of everything on the truck I can think of, anything I forgot just ask:

    • This is a really late reply but I just found this thread. They won't sell the hinges. I've gone 7 rounds with them. Their solution is to buy a new cover. I'm about to buy a new cover and it won't be a Bakflip. It also won't be from realtruck.com.
    • Yes, and also pulling heavy trailers or a large camper up steep grades as well as descending grades such as the more rustic off road camping locations and using engine braking with that low gearing as well as soft ground can just suck the power . I realize pickups these days tend to have an over all lower first gear ratio compared to automatic transmission pickups from years back so that has helped a lot in its ability in high range but there comes a point if in four wheel drive the torque runs out at the wheels, certainly with a gas engine. They don't put two speed transfer cases on pickups for a cool factor, they have a function if one needs that massive torque to the wheels that high range can't deliver.
    • Notes 7/18/2026   3,400 miles on this batch of Mobil 1 Euro 5W40 since the GDI pump replacement. Alcohol runs very clean when ring seal is tight and the sump isn't getting hosed with fuel. Checked oil level at fill up today as is my practice and grabbed a white Kleenex to look at the color. What color?  I was going to change it but.....
    • 4 low is really nice on steep boat ramps.
    • Interesting, I suspect I would have fueled up in Lee Vining as the day prior I would have filled up either in Laughlin or near there and maybe again before I entered Death Valley and once out the other side late that evening as I kept on driving into the night up near Lee Vining. Next morning I most likely fueled up in LV before heading over Tioga Pass into ( as I refer to it as "Yose .... Mite" 😁 ). And again that was 19 years ago but the price then must not have jumped out at me like the 5 bill a gallon theme of nutty cult hippy country Big Sir or head so far up their rear Aspen. I'd be curious to know where the highest prices are in the lower 48, I probably would not be far off to guess somewhere in Cali forn ie. Coldfoot and Prudhoe bay may have those prices beat but that is a whole other world up there and when prices are more normal elsewhere that is about what they can be up there I believe in no mans land. Anyway interesting that the 395 corridor is hosing people and the thing is, its tourist season and its not like there are a lot of competition options when driving up that highway from what I could see. Yup, big ole Boaterhomes and various other RV's ahead and behind me at the Yosemite entrance gate and they have to get their fuel somewhere.
