Thud When Turning

Hey everybody, I have a quick question, everytime I turn left/right all the way, right before I pin it I feel a thud/knock. I'm pretty sure it's the ball joints. Any other ideas/possibilities? It's a 2001 1500 4wd 4.3l with 180,000 miles, hard miles

Any help/ideas are welcome. what's the price of this job?

Mine does that too and I'm pretty sure its the lower ball joints.

ball joints, tie rod ends, pit man arm, idler arm, wheel hubs im willing to bet its one of those items haha. jack it up and give it the ol wiggle test

Possibly intermediate steering shaft??

Yeah at first I was hopful it was the built up snow/slush in the wheel wells, darn- never that easy

It feels lower than the shaft
