Recommended Posts

Basically I want to just delete my muffler cut it out and put a piece of pipe in there. Or possibly break it off into dual straights, but I wouldnt mess with the cats. What does this do to my warranty?

Depends on your dealer. Some are forgiving on some stuff, some are dicks. If they can prove the modification caused something to happen they may not cover it. If you have a good relationship with your dealer you should be ok. Call the dealer up and ask them.

The dealership I go to told me as long as I don't touch anything from the cats forward I'm fine. My dealership has a bunch of turnaround in the service writers except for one or two of them, the ones who have been there will tell you what will void warranties and what wont. My service writer will tell you what to take off/put back to stock before you come in or before he writes it up so you don't void anything.
