Different Corsa Exhaust Question

I;ve had a corsa exhaust on for a little while now. I went and washed my truck today, and it looks/feels like there is an exhaust film on the bottom part of the panel where the exhaust exits.

The tips are tucked fairly far back under, but there is really no way to get them out far enough.

 

Just wondering if this is a common occurrence?

Can you loosen the clamp and move the tip out a little?

not very much. I doubt it will make a huge difference.

Is there an easy way to keep that clean?

Will that ruin my clear coat or anything?

Try loosening the last pipe and readjusting. Not sure if it has to be fully seated, but you can try pulling it out a bit and turning it downward a touch away from the paint. I had to do this on my rear exit touring to make the pipes even.
