1995 Gmc Z71 Motor Swap Issues

Hi Im new to the forums so I hope this post is made in the right section. I bought a 1995 GMC 4x4 Z71. It has the 350 TBI in it. I have to replace the motor ( its locked up from water and rust) I found another motor that looked identicle at first glance and bought it. The new motor has 85,000 miles and came out of a 1991 or 1992 suburban and its the 350 TBI as well. After buying the motor I noticed a few diffrences one is that the new motors oil filter screws on straight up and down were on my old motor is sat sideways ( I think maybe the new motor I got was out of a two wheel drive cause when I first tried to drop the motor in the oil filter is almost hitting my front drive shaft). I also notice that the drivers side exhaust header has a diffrent angle were the exhuast pipe mounts to it. The idler pully has a diffrent style set up but dont know if that will make a diffrence. My question is will this motor work in my truck with a couple of mods or part swapping. Both the motors say 5.7LG SGI Thank you for your time
