1500 Sway Bar Vs 2500 Sway Bar

Does anyone know if there is a difference in the front sway bars from a 1500 and 2500 series truck? I'm thinking about finding one from a junked 2500 and trying it on my 2005 4x4 Tahoe. This may be a cheap upgrade.

 

I did the same with a 80's style f-body sway bar and put it on my 94 impala..
