Front Bumper Fascia Trim Cap, Help

Headlight is out, 2007 4dr Sierra SLT (GMT900).

I have the full sevice manual. In attempting to remove Front Bumper Fascia Trim Cap it seems stuck. It seems to be fastened below and to the side under the light. I did unscrew and disengage from front fenders but the fascia trim cap seems fastened a few inches forward (both sides) of the screws into the fender, directly beneath the housing of the lamps.

Am I missing a trick? Is something missing from my manual? Please help.

  Ha!! So GM Customer service, ive already been talking with someone on your email team and there is nothing they can do. So pretty consistent with everyone else’s experience- you can do NOTHING.. worthless emails. Sure glad i have 4 GM cars on our family cuz now its clear you dont care.. Sad and pathetic.
