Safe To Tow?

I have an 07 NBS 1500 silverado with the 5.3/4 speed/ tow package/ 3.73 gears. Would it be safe to tow a 1989 sea ray bow rider (21 feet) boat 4 hours? ive towed it 15 minutes to drop it in the water and pull it out plenty of times but were looking to take it up north.... any insight is appreciated.

You never want to go over your weight limit, but you should be well under it with that boat I would think. I also have the 5.3 4speed 3.73 just an older year model. You should have a tow limit of somewhere around 7000-8000.

Totally safe. The trailer only has one axle so it's well within the truck's capabilities. Have fun boating.
