Bounces When Braking

Recently put on 18" ultra mako rims with 285/60 toyo a/t, and my 06' GMC sierra 1500 seems to bounce pretty hard when coming to a stop from 35mph and higher. From that speed I step down on the break for a stop and it begins to bounce, usually more bounce the longer I ride the break to the stop. This problem is only when I'm coming to a stop or slowing down for a turn at 35plus speed.

Do I need new/bigger brakes?

DO I need new shocks? Have 100thousand plus with stock.

recently replaced the front brakes, couple of months back, but not the rear.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

P.s. I had stock 17" rims with 265/70 highway tires on before and didn't really have this problem with these.

You gotta remove the two rear wheels and remove the little clips that are holding on the rear brake drum, then reinstall the wheels. Soon as you pop those off, the shaking will go away.

Stlavsa- thanks I will check into that. Can you explain to me what that does, or how does it stop the bouncing.

Thanks

ya your new wheels arent hub centric and the clips, which are installed during production as keepers to hold the rear brake drums in place, keep the rear wheels from seating right. Posts like yours are a dime a dozen on here, it happened to me back in 08, just pop off the clips n your golden.
