02 Silverado Crank Sensor Specs/resistance

Recommended Posts

Posted

Truck has been stalling and not restarting after getting up to normal temps in 90+ degree temp stop and go traffic.

Got codes P0335, P0336...now tracing down wires for shorts/breaks and need voltage specs to sensor from PCM and resistance values of the Crank Position Sensor..

I found this info last night here in a TSB (I think it was) but can't seem to find the info via the search routine here...

I think the resistance was something like 4.95-5.09 on one leg and 17.0k-17.1K on the other...voltage to the sensor was actual system volts....can anyone confirm this ??

2002 Chevy Silverado LT/Z71 5.3 Gas.

Thanks All....
