12 Volts On Back Up Mirror

can it get 12 volts off the back up mirror

the truck is a ltz 2011, i want to stick my back monitor up on the mirror

the mirror is useless since i have a cap on the truck and can not see out the back anyay

i did not get factory back up camera since my cap has double doors on it

On the LTZ you should have auto dimming rear view mirror and if it has Onstar or outside temp you will have 12v switched and 12v backup. The 12v backup should work with your rear view camera so its only on in reverse.
