No Pictures or Info yet. I will try and update this upcoming week. It was not a difficult job even without a lift. I didnt break anything and was by myself the entire time.

Well I didnt take pictures during removal. I had this link by my side for reference; it walks through the whole process. I have the electronic shift but the steps are the same. Follow this you should have no problem. pump rub fix..

The most difficult part was lowering the case on my own. I supported the transmission with wood blocks and the floor jack holding the t-case up while I slid the studs out of the mounting flange. I let the case basically fall on my chest rather than hit the floor which might crack the case. Oh and the top most electrical clip was kind of a pain. Here is a picture after I took it to the car wash.

More to come. I haven't had time to open it up yet.

After removing it I started the engine and let it run for a about five minutes so the power steering would function. I hope the rear bearing in the transmission doesnt need oil from the t-case. Do you think its possible it could be damaged?

Possible, yes. Likely, no. I wouldn't sweat it.

It was very easy to seperate. Open the large lock ring on the bearing and dont forget the black sensor (the bearing wont release), I didn't, so I removed the smaller one as well and it came apart. I only used a craftsman lock ring pliers.

Is this an acceptable amount of slack? The teeth on everything look fine.

Lots of sludge! I need a new pickup.

The pump rub has been occurring steadily however little for a case with this mileage. I see the broken part of the clip has been rattling around the inside of the case and the wear on the magnesium in two locations.

Both large sprockets slid off with a couple lock rings

Well pics are finally up!

I also learned out how to replace the driveshaft support bearing in a Nissan Frontier tonight without the use of a press or puller. There may be hope for my truck after all.

Awsome pics man!!! do these T-cases have any kind of adjustable chain tensioner in them or did you have to outright buy a new chain? Mines gettin pretty sloppy i think its time for a rebuild.
