2009 Silverado Sunroof Shade Rattles

My shade rattles something awful when the shade is slid forward to the closed position. Even if I tap it wil my finger it rattles. It seems to be just too loose in the channel. The actual sunroof itself is perfect, but when I close the shade it rattles big time. To get the shade out, it appears that I'd need to lower the head liner which is something I'd rather not touch. Anyone else experiaced this?

Okay, 50 reads and no relies, so I'll assume that this is not a common issue. The headliner has a trim ring that goes around the sunroof opening. Removing that trim ring would make access to the sunroof shade easier. Anyone know how to remove the trim ring? Thanks!
