Console/armrest Compartment

Recommended Posts

I have a 2001 GMC Yukon XL that I bought used. Does anyone know how I can get a key for the lockable armrest/console compartment in the middle between the drivers seat and the passengers seat?

Thanks!

If you look on the cylinder itself,on the end, you'll see a 3 or 4 digit code, this is the key code, take that code to a locksmith and they should be able to cut you a key.

Okay, I will check that out. My ignition key does not fit so Im assuming it was a smaller "Cabinet" type key. I will look for the numbers.

Thanks for the help!
