Heat Inlet Hose

I'm wanting to flush the coolant on my '06 and am trying to figure out which heater hose is the inlet. Everywhere says the one running to the top of the engine is the inlet, but both of mine go straight to the water pump. Anyone know which one is the inlet?

IIRC the drivers side heater core pipe is the inlet.

Edit:

To be more clear. the HC pipes are on the passenger side of the compartment. Of the 2 pipes, the one closest to the drivers side is the inlet

Your talking about the two hoses on the passenger side, but the hose that is towards the drivers side, correct? Also, since I don't have a drain on the radiator, how should I flush it with the tee in the heater hose?

Correct.

Drop the lower rad. hose

Do I just keep the lower hose off while I'm flushing through the heater hose? Should I take the thermostat out while flushing it?
