Mounting a Fisher joy stick control

I recently replaced my '01 Silverado HD with an '05 Sierra 2500 HD. I had been using the Fish Stick but I prefer the joy stick control. I want to mount it to the lower left of the steering column but I don't want to make any holes in the trim panels. Has anyone been successful at mounting it so that the bracket fits between the lower panel and the dash bezel?

In my last truck.. I used Heavy duty 3m Locking type velcro.... worked perfectly..

 

In my new truck.. well dealer install and "cut my F ing dash" Pissed off~!! but whats done is done.....

 

If you can find a spot to the left of your steering wheel, would use the HD velcro, or they make a more flexable style HD velcro that you can find at homecheapo.....
