Dtcs w/o check engine light????

I am about to Buy An. Used suburban 2008, it shows no MIL or check engine on cluster...but when scanned, there are 2 dtcs: p0336 and p1400, the SES light does check before starting the vehicle....as any vehicle does, it means the owner just has not taken off this light of the cluster....!

Any help?

P0336 is Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance

P1400 is not a valid code for GM. You must have read it wrong. Did it say these were pending codes on your reader?

Also do not change a part just because of a code. You need to have it checked further.

Also what do you mean by this:it means the owner just has not taken off this light of the cluster....! ??

He means the light flashes when the vehicle is turned on so a potential buyer knows it hasn't been intentionally broken to hide a problem.
