2000 5.3l performance upgrades???

i wanted to do a few upgrades to my 5.3l silverado and i was wondering what upgrades would be the best bang for my money.

If you use the search you will find many possible upgrades for the 5.3 but the most common things you will hear people talk about are,

 

1) Cat back exhaust

2) Cold air intake/high flow intake (Primarily for throttle responce and sound but for your buck the Airaid MIT intake tube and drop in filter.)

3) Tune from Black Bear, Eather an Autocal or a new pcm. (Personally have superchips because I got it for less than a hundred dollars)

 

These are fairly simplistic and will give you some gains. The best thing for the truck will be the tune, it will help with drivability and just help smooth out everything. The reason I put it last on the list is because you want to have as many of your tunes done before getting a tune so it can be as accurate for the truck as possible. But if you get something like an autocal you can continue to update your pcm as often as your add to or modify your truck.
