Trany slipping 2009 GMC

Hi All,

I am not a mechanical person and was hoping someone might offer some insight.

I have a 2009 Z71 extended cab with about 70k. The transmition was worked on by the dealer a few years ago for the same problem but no as bad as it is getting. Their fix helped but it never really went away.

Erraticly/sometimes when I start the truck I can feel a bump/clunk, feels like the trany is jarring together, also when I am driving I can feel it clunk into/out of gear.

I am taking it into the dealer today for a transmition flush and oil change and was wondering if anyone would know what it might be? I have an extended warrantty through the dealer up to 100k so I hope to get it fixed right.

Thanks for any replies

First check the U joints and then the suspension bushings. Those are the first things I check whenever I hear or feel driveline thumps and bumps.
