Brake Part Numbers (ACDelco)

Hey- I need to replace the rear shoes and drums on my 06 Sierra SLT. I'm unsure of which part numbers to use. So far for drums I found these two 18B555 and 177-0916. One is considerabely more expensive than the other. From what I can tell, the different between them is one is ACDelco durastop and the other is the OEM stuff. I appreciate any help and pointers in this!

OK,thats excatly what it is......

AC-Delco part#177-0916 (GM part#19133374) are the "OE" drums,

while AC-Delco part#18B555 (GM part#19183586) are the AC-Delco "Durastop" drums.

For the price I'd go with the Durastop ones,we've had no issues with them here.

 

On the rear brake shoes you have the same thing....

AC-Delco and GM part#19256494 are the "OE" shoes,

while AC-Delco part#17855B (GM part#19165999) are the "Durastop" shoes.
