Swapping AC control KNOBS... Anyone know how

Hey all,

I have ordered some Escalade AC control knobs for my '02 Tahoe (just for a different, better [i hope!] look), but I don't have them in my possesion yet.  Not knowing what the new ones look like behind them, I'm not sure how they go on, and how the stock ones come off. Anyone know?

Do they just pull off?  Is there some sort of release?  Do I need to take the dash bezel off, take the controls out, and get to them from behind somehow?

Thanks in advance!

Larry, the part number I had was 09379893, but both gmpartsdirect.com and partzoneonline.com show that the number doesn't exist any more.

Kirk, here's how they look.  I have the headlight switch on the way also.  Can't get just the knob on it though, had to order the whole switch, about $35.00 though.

Here's a pic of the headlight switch form Jason Pendlum's site.

Thanks, Tom!  They ought to be here tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to putting these on.  It's these silly little touches that I think are cool, understated, and make your [my] truck unique.  Thanks for the pics!

And LarryE -- just take that part number, and DROP the "0" from the beginning of it (start it with the "9").  The part should come up fine (just went through this with my local dealer).
